Joo Won Park was at Fidget in Philadelphia last night to perform works from his new NOREMIXES album “Overundertone” in 8 channel surround sound. It was a great night of music, as Joo Won was also joined by composers Maurice Wright, Mark Zaki & Adam Vidiksis. Here’s a clip of Joo Won performing “Snake and Ox”.

Now Oberlin-based composer, Joo Won Park, spent a number of years living and teaching in Philadelphia, and during his time there spent many days wandering through the beautiful Fairmount Park taking photos. They have been stitched together in the hypnotic video for ’10M to Fairmount’, one of the new works taken from his forthcoming album “Overundertone” out Monday, April 13th on NOREMIXES.
